Vulnerability & Thresholds in Ecology

Under the title Vulnerability & Thresholds in Ecology the workshop will connect to an on-going discourse with high practical relevance. Based on a broad spectrum of presentations from theory and praxis, vulnerability of ecological systems and thresholds for shifts in system states shall be discussed. Our workshop will be held in cooperation with the Forum Network for Biodiversity Research Germany (Nefo) and Diversitas International, focussing on "tipping points" in ecosystems.
