53rd IAVS Symposium

The main theme of the symposium will be “Changing Gradients in Vegetation and the Environment”.

Schedule

April 12-17 (Monday to Saturday): Pre-Symposium excursions.
April 18 (Sunday): Registration, Council meeting (13:30-17:00) and welcoming reception.
April 19 (Monday morning): Editors meeting (7:30-10:00) and opening ceremony.

April 19- 20 & 22- 23 (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday): Plenary and parallel sessions.
April 21 (Wednesday): Mid-week symposium excursions.

April 22 (Thursday): General and closing assembly (16:00-18:00), followed by  symposium banquet.
April 23 (Friday): Council meeting (14:00-16:00)
April 24 (Saturday): Departure of participants on the post-symposium excursions as well as those leaving the meeting for home.
