Research Interests
I am a PhD student at the Chair of Biogeography at the University of Bayreuth. My main research interests include:
- Isolation patterns as a consequence of speciation (at local, regional and global scales)
- Global treeline elevations and there ecologic and geographic drivers
- Macroecological patterns of diversity and endemism
- Oceanic islands and high-elevated ecosystems (sky islands)
I am experienced to apply statistical analyses (univariate and multivariate methods), models and GIS with R and open source software.
