Next Generation Sequencing:
The development of massively parallel sequencing methods on various kinds of two-dimensional arrays (therefore also called 'array sequencing' or 'next-generation sequencing, NGS') has opened access to sequence data of genomes and transcriptomes not only from single organisms, but also from complex (environmental) samples containing numerous different species.
The NGS technology is used in many different research domains such as:
- Genome sequencing
- Transcriptome sequencing
- SNP/InDel discovery
- ChIP sequencing
- Amplicon sequencing
The keylab is ready to support you in setting up NGS projects and in analysing NGS sequence data.
